At Alpine Stables we strive in teaching children as well as adult’s horse sense. We take great pride in sharing our knowledge while at the same time having safe educational fun.

It's like having your own horse/pony for a week!

Spring Break Camp

March 15-19

Lessons and trail rides

Safety and horsemanship skills - grooming, horse care and preparation, ground work/handling

Horse care topics - Hoof care, tack cleaning, feeding, paddock cleaning

Crafts

Bring your own lunch and snacks 

Games and Show day on Friday finished at 12

Full day 9-4 $600 deposit $300

Registration Process

Fill out camp registration and waiver forms and email in with your deposit payment by e-transfer, credit card online, or cash/cheque in person.

Summer Camps

​

• Ages 7-15 

• Students will be assigned a group and a horse for the week. Morning topics will be safety rules, stable management, grooming, riding lesson and feeding.

• Afternoon activities will include trail rides, arts and crafts, bareback riding and various pop up ideas.

• Evening activities will consist of campfires, games, horsey videos and social interaction. Great snacks and meals are important to having a great day. The order of events may change according to weather and amount of campers per group.

• We finish off with the Show and Games day on Friday. This is where the parents/guardians, family members and friends are invited to watch the grand finale.

•  Bring your own tent to stay in near the house and leaders. Please refer to our checklist for other items to bring!

• Note: parents please remember camp is over after Show and Games day Friday at noon.

Day Campers

• Arrival is 9:00 AM daily.

• Pick up is 4:00 PM daily 12:00 PM Friday

Friday Show/Games Day

• Parents, friends and family arrive to watch at 9:30 AM.

• Students are finished and packed up by 12:00 PM.

• A unique opportunity for students to participate in the responsibilities and care of horses.
